It’s shaping up to be a big 2010 for Neon Indian, just as SPIN predicted. The band made its network television debut last Thursday night, Feb. 11 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Now they are playing their biggest NYC headlining show to date on March 5 at Webster Hall. The band was also recently announced as part of the Bonnaroo 2010 line-up and will be hitting the US and European Summer festival circuit with a vengeance (stay tuned for more on that!). Neon Indian recently remixed Grizzly Bear’s track “Cheerleader” not once, but twice, if you haven’t heard those remixes yet, listen here, stay tuned for many more high profile remixes to be unleashed throughout the year. San Diego’s Cuckoo Chaos’ debut EP We Are From Deerplants is now available digitally everywhere and physically through our store. They are currently prepping their debut full length to be released later this year…stay tuned!
Dominant Legs is the new project from 2009 breakouts, Girls‘ guitarist Ryan Lynch and the lovely Hannah Hunt. They will be putting out their debut EP via Lefse this Spring. Ryan is currently on the road with Girls, but that’s not stopping him from having a Dominant Legs show while in Paris with fellow ‘09 Spanish breakouts, Delorean.
From Pitchfork: The duo of L.A.’s Craig Gordon and David Bolt, aka the Delta Mirror, started off as a hip-hop group, but have since expanded their sound to incorporate a multitude of influences, and this track, from their forthcoming debut LP, Machines That Listen (out March 19 on Lefse), pairs some shoegazy guitar distortion with glitchy IDM percussion.

Today marks the CD and digital release (vinyl available October 27th) of Neon Indian’s debut release Psychic Chasms available now at the Lefse Store along with most other places CDs are sold.
They also received some Pitchfork love by being honored with their coveted ‘Best New Music’ award (read the review HERE), as well as an amazing video review on ABC World News’s feature ‘New Music Mondays’ (view it HERE).
For those of you who want more than just to hear the new album, they embark on a world tour this week beginning in Florida, wandering their way back across the states, including multiple festival stops, a weekend jaunt to Mexico, across the pond to Europe, and finally to the land down under.
